Question:
I NEED SOME SUGGESTIONS IN WHAT TO SAY TO THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER ABOUT MY INS.?
I have medically necessity with my insurance and I received a letter a couple weeks ago saying they denied me for gastric bypass surgery because I didn't list any supervised diets with the past 12 months. I am appealing the decision. I live in N.C. I don't really want to waste my time if they can't help me because I have a medically necessity policy. What should I tell them? Do I complain and tell them what's going on? — Nicole H. (posted on July 2, 2002)
