It could be restless leg syndrome. And yes this can be caused by lack of
iron and B12, among others. There is a website with lots of info
www.rls.com. Hope this helps.

You can have leg tremors due to low calcium. How are your calcium labs?

All the things the other posters said, plus potassium. My husband had this
pretty bad and if he drinks some oj with calcium in it every day or takes a
calcium and potassium supplement w/his regular vitamin, it keeps it under
control.

What they said! At about 3 months post-op, I started to get the same
problem. I increased my potassium intake and they slowly went away.

GAR, thanks for posting that site! When I had my sleep apnea done, the dr.
said I probably have restless leg syndrome. She said if it became more of
a problem, to let her know. Well, I have a problem with it sometimes
(very annoying), but I just never get around to calling her. See, you
learn something every time you come here! Thanks~

I had leg tremors before WLS and mine was due to restless leg syndrome, a
nuerological source. All my blood work at that time (4 months pre-op) came
back normal with no dificiencies of any kind that would contribute to it.
After several other tests they said it was nuerological (which they also
said was hereditary, as several relative also have it). I was finally put
on some medication (klonopin) that has taken care of the problem. I would
have them do blood work to determine if it is a dificiency first and if
not, perhaps seek testing by a nueroligist. I am still doing fine with the
klonopin now being 8 weeks post op.
