Question:
What about flying?

I will have to fly home when I get released from the hopital after surgery. When I flew out to my last appt the belt hardly fit and was uncomfortable. Will any airlines have a little give about wearing the belt I know it's not safe but neither is putting pressure on the new tummy.    — Barb R. (posted on January 10, 2002)

I face the same situation, and I have been told that you can ask a stewardess for a belt extension. That should make the fit much looser.

I believe that they are in fact strict about it during landing and taking off... Did you ever ask for the extension? It may very well be the last time you need it! Congrats!
