Question:
What should I do for myself on the day before surgery?

I'm thinking of scheduling a chiropractor appt, massage appt, pedicure, and general take care of my outsides appointment. What did any of you do for yourselves?    — Elaine P. (posted on May 22, 2001)

I went to the chiropracter and got my hair cut.

I went to brunch with my husband. Called or visited loved ones. Had my picture and measurements taken. Shopped for a robe and nightgown for the hospital stay. Took a bubble bath. Tried to relax.

I did the pedicure and full body massage thing. It was wonderful!! Go for it!
