Question:
Has anyone else had trouble with g-tube site leaking bile after tube was removed?

I am 4 weeks post-op. My g-tube was removed on May 9. It leaked pretty bad for a couple of days but then lightened up. Now about once a day, especially at night, bile will pour out, especially if I sneeze or strain. Dr. says give it some more time. Has anyone else had this problem and can give me some idea how long this lasts?    — Randy L. (posted on May 15, 2001)
