Question:
Will chiropractic adjustments assist with healing process?

I have seen a chiroprater off and on for years, but have never had a serious procedure like WLS. As I am reading about back pain the last few days, I am wondering if anyone has used chiro adjustments to help.    — Elaine P. (posted on March 21, 2001)

I continued my chiro. appointments at six weeks post-op, when I went back to work. I was having problems sitting in my chair for 8 hours a day, and my back really began bothering me. With the chiro. appointments, I'm feeling better again!

Surgery is hard an your body, and chiropractic treatments are a great way to keep yourself in balance. I found I needed to go back to my chiropractor after I had lost all my weight, because I was having a lot of back and hip pain. He said that my frame was still aligned to carry the extra 132 pounds that I no longer had on my body! It took about 6 treatments to get right again.
