Question:
Can I hear some unique ways that people have used to self-pay?
Hello, I was wondering if I could hear of some different and unique ways that you have used for self-pay. As you can see I'm desperate. I don't know where else to turn. My insurance wont pay and they are through my husbands insurance. I can't take a home loan because we just bought it. I just need some help with some options I might be over looking. I have three wonderful young children and my family has a history of dying young (obesity related) and I don't want to leave them so I truely am desperate. Any info or payment plans or self pay or anything I would be soooo greatful. Thank you for your time. Angel — Angela M. (posted on February 27, 2001)

I too am trying to do some creative financing. Here are some of my ideas:
1) We have a car that is almost paid off that we are going to refinance
(lower interest rate than most loans).
2) Taxes (if you are lucky enough to get a return)
3) Some hospitals have payment plans for the hospital portion.
Good luck!

Are you sure you can't get a home equity loan? How much was your
downpayment? If you have any equity, there are companies who will allow
you to borrow up to 100% value. Sell some of your possessions. We in
American own way too much stuff. Sell a car, a boat, whatever. Don't you
get all of those credit card offers in the mail like I do? Find one that
will let you charge the amount on it (I know, this would be a last resort
for me too). Take out a loan. Get a job, or a second job. Does any of
this help?

Hi I was having trouble getting the money to pay for my plastic surgery and
was searching and searching and wasting money on programs when I came
across the one I used. I had the money to pay for my surgery within 30
days and all it cost me was 11.50 to get started. Heres the address.
