Question:
Can anyone tell me the costs with Dr. Champion?

I am going to GA to have my surgery & will be self-payI hear that DR Champion is the best of Lap-Rny and was wondering if anyone could tell what the total costs were since I will be self-pay thank you    — Ann C. (posted on February 3, 2001)

Ann, I had my lap RNY with Dr. Champion 11/16/99 and have gone from 40.2 BMI to 25.4 BMI. I have never felt better. I, too, flew from NJ to have Dr. C. do my surgery...he is one of the best lap surgeons in the country. I was a self pay and the total medical costs were $18,700 at Dunwoody Medical Center outside of Atlanta. Good luck with your journey to good health, Sandy
