Question:
Is there a protein counter?
I am almost certain that someone has posted a site where it shows the amount of proteins in different foods. If you know please post this again to the list or to me personally. I am over 8 months out and am starting to really pay better attention to what I am eating. Check out my webpage w/photos now at: http://community,webtv,net/chuk5701/TonyHicksWeghtLoss. If I can help anyone on their journey, please let me know. (Down 137lbs in 8 months and all is well.) — Tony H. (posted on January 7, 2001)

I don't have the answer but Tony YOUR correct site is:
http://community.webtv.net/chuk5701/TonyHicksWeghtLoss
I had to replace the commas after community and webtv to
get it to work :-)

This is a great website for logging in your food, and it calculates all
your nutrients including protein. They also have a section for exercise.

I found a good source at a local bookstore. It's called "The Complete
Book of Food Counts" and is by Corinne T. Netzer. It gives the
nutritional info ( calories, protein, carbos, cholesterol, sodium, &
fiber)for most foods & includes many popular restaurants eg Taco Bell,
McDonald's, etc. The only thing I wish it included is sugar counts, which
it doesn't have. I have used this book so much over the last 8 months, I
may have to buy a replacement, mine's looking a bit sad. :)
