Question:
This is going to seem like a silly questions. eye plastics?
I am pre-op and have fatty pads under my eyes. I have been considering having my eyes "done", should I wait until I lose the weight and see if I lose the fat under my eyes? — yvonne1953 (posted on October 21, 2004)

Yes! Wait! Then if there are any wrinkles, they'll go, too and they'll
look nice 'n fresh. Costs the same either way. Puffs alone or puffs 'n
bags.

I think I should wait until a later date, they might disappear or get
worse.

I vote "Wait." Ya never know. I had no particular problems with
my eyes pre-op but, post-op, developed leaky eyeballs that were caused by
the skin on my lower eyelids being too loose (I never heard 'o this one
before, that's for sure). Dunno if that was from age or weight loss or
both, but insurance paid for a lower eyelid lift (in contast, my LBL was
self-paid, go figure). I had a lot of leftover skin on my face, so had a
brow lift thrown in and PS tried to lift some of the excess skin off the
face as part of eyelid lift (dunno yet it if worked, too soon to say). I'd
absolutely wait for PS til you've parked at goal for a good while, unless
there's a screaming medical necessity to have it done now.

Like the others said - Wait. Just because if you have other things that
you want tightened up it can all be done at once. As far as the fat under
the eyes go - that won't go away without ps. At least that is what I've
always heard.
