What should I do now my insurance is effective 8/04? Where do I go from here?

If you have Aetna or Cigna, you have to have a medically supervised diet before they will approve you. Either way, it is up to you to find out for yourself exactally what hoops they will expect you to jump through for an approval. You should call them now and find out what the criteria is before a letter is sent in. Don't assume because you have medical problems that they will excuse you from the MD supervised diet, they rarely ever bend on this. Best of Luck!
