Does anyone know of a PCP that is

I was on tenncare when i started this journey 1 1/2 years ago and when i talked to my pcp about wls and if he would give me a referal he explained to me that tenncare only paid .43cents on the dollar and that there wasn't many surgeons that would take that. he told me that if i could find a surgeon willing to do it he would give me one(thinking that i would never find one and give up). he was right. since then i married amd changed ins. to bcbssc ppo and they say that they cover gastric bypass. now pcp acts like he doesnt remember and like he is against surgery. i aggrivated him untill he gave me a letter but he really didnt want to. I really dont wanna go back to him cause hes not wls friendly and i need to find one that is. thanks Leigh    — leigh M. (posted on January 7, 2004)

Hi Leigh: Why don't you try asking your WL surgeon for a pcp referral? He probably knows of a doctor who was in favor of wls and was easy for him to work with. Can't be of any more help as I don't live in TN. Sorry. S
