Question:
can you lose lg amt, ^200 and can it remain permenantly?

I was wondering about the success of vgb with lg amts of weight loss, and can it be permenant? I mean, I wouldnt think I would want it to be removed because I wouldnt trust myself not to over eat again    — laury (posted on December 15, 2003)

Are you talking about VBG or AGB (Lap Band?) A VBG cannot be removed since it is essentially stomach stapling.Please confirm which you mean. Lisa F

The lap-bad can be removed. The VBG is permanent. I had VBG, checkout my profile! Lots of info there that might help you. Also, I had pseudo-tumor cerebri too, and since surgery, all signs of it are GONE! Email me if you have any questions.
