Question:
going to see the plastic surgeon for the first time on thursday!

im going to see the plastic surgeon for the first time on thursday to see about a tummy tuck and other procedures, im wondering is there anything i need to say or do to improve my chances of the insurance covering my tummy tuck? any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!    — lisa N. All I can say is "good luck". I have had 2 consultations with different ones and neither was interested in insuranse matters. They both let the staff handle it and that was not encouraging at all. They don't seem to think it is worth asking for approval. Go to the last 300 questions, there was one today titled :GETTING APOROVED FOR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY. This lady had some great tips.

When there taking pictures to send to the insurance company, stand sideways and grab your stomach and pull it out as far as you can. This way the insurance company can see the excessive amount of skin that needs to be removed.
