Question:
I know why post take the chewable childrens vitamins
But when to graduate to some regular pill form? You dont need to take chewables forever do you? — maria R. (posted on September 2, 2003)

I don't know if there is a specific time to switch, but I would think that
if you can tolerate swallowing other pills then vitamins would be no
different. I just don't mind them so at 6 1/2 months still use them. I
guess when I get around to it I will have to compare labels and just buy a
bottle of something that is equal in composition. My bloodwork is great so
I hate to mess with the formula. I buy the generic children's chewable
"completes".

I used the chewables vitamins after surgery until they were gone, then I
switched back to the multivitamin pill I was taking before surgery. No
problems.

I came home from the hospital taking chewable adult Centrum. I didnt see
the need to take extra kiddy vits when I could chew 1 adult vit. and be
done with it. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02 down 115
