Question:
really not a question.. but a good hint !!
(SORRY I GUESSED I SHOULD HAVE MAYBE PUT THIS ON THE MESSAGE BOARD, BUT I AM NEVER ON THERE AND LIVE IN THIS AREA...LOL.) I WAS JUST GOING TO GIVE A FAST AND EASY WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING YOUR WATER INTAKE.. I DO THIS NOW AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY SURGERY YET,, I FILL UP 2 GALLONS OF WATER AND PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER BEFORE I GO TO BED, AND WHEN I GET UP IN THE MORNING I TAKE ONE OUT AND SET IT ON THE COUNTER, NOT ONLY IS IT ICE COLD (ONCE IT THAWS ALITTLE ;O) BUT IT'S FAST TO FILL UP YOUR BOTTLE AND GO. AND ONCE YOU DRINK HALF OF THAT ONE, BRING OUT THE OTHER TO THAW AND BE READY .. I FIND I CAN DRINK ALMOST 2 GALLONS OF WATER A DAY,, WITH MY SON DIPPIN IN A LITTLE HERE AND THERE.. HOPE THIS HELPS !! AND AGAIN SORRY FOR PLACING IT HERE AND NOT ON THE M.B. !! kELLY — kelkel319 (posted on July 8, 2003)

Kelly: Two gallons of water a day ??!! That is way to much and can cause
your kidneys to overload. Eight to ten 8 ounce glasses of water is
optimal. Please slow down on the drinking.

HI Rhonda, I guess I didn't realize when I was writting this that once you
have your surgery you may only need to do this with a pitcher of water,
maybe not a whole gallon, but i do always drink alot of water like this,
as i keep getting told to drink more water by my pcp, maybe he don't
believe i drink this much, sorry for the post, i just felt that it was a
sure and easy way to get your water each day, but like i said of course you
drink what you are supposed to. Thanks again Kelly

I do something similar. I freeze my 20oz water bottles. I fill them half
way at night before I go to bed and then add water in the am. I keep them
in a cooler while working and as one gets low I take out the next one. I
love ice cold water, especially when
it's so hot outside. Thanks for sharing...
