Question:
Can someone tell me some foods that are high protein and low carbs?

Tuna, white meat chicken, (dark meat is higher in fat, but still low carb
depending on how it's prepared) Beef, (fat content in some cuts) turkey,
(white meat), shrimp, (cholesterol) cheese, (fat content). If you're
having troubles I suggest seeking the advice of a nutritionist. The two of
you can work out a plan that suits you and your lifestyle.

Jerky and cheeses are high in protein. And don't forget the other white
meat - pork!

Protein shakes and bars (some have zero or low carbs). All
meats/seafood/poultry, dairy products. Carbs are not necessarily bad and
should be included in the diet, so some carbs are good for you, like beans,
fruits and veggies,whole grain breads.

Hi! There are three nutriants we need daily (other than water, etc.):
Protein, Fats and Carbohydrates. If it walks, swims or flies, it is protein
and the best choice. If it isn't fat or oils (we know what those are), than
it is a Carbohydrate. Yes, even lettuce is a carb!! If you want a more
detailed version of this, just go to my profile! :~) Hopes this helps!
Also... legeums (beans, peanuts, etc.) are protein, but they also have fat
in them, so not as good a choice, but still better than a carbohydrate!!
If it grows under the ground, it has a higher number of carbs than those
items that grow above the ground!

I'm a beef jerky addict, so that's good. Cheeses are good, but be careful
of too much fat from cheeses. Shellfish and fish is also a good source of
protein. I love lean tuna and shrimp. A good shrimp cocktail can fill me
up for a lunch and leave me satisfied for hours.
