Question:
PLEASE HELP : DENIED !!!!!!!

Hello, I have Healthcare USA (Missouri medicaid) and was denied becuse I haven't done a 4-point diet.I was never told about this diet untill after I tried to get approval. They told me that they and my doctor would make up the diet and to date I haven't got a answer as to what the diet is. My doc. told them that he cant set one up for me becuse I cant make it to him for weekly let alone daily check in's I live 3 hrs away from him. I have tried many time to get a hold of someone at Healthcare USA to tell me what the diet is since my denial on April 17. My PCP has wrote 3 letters telling them that I have done doc suppervised diets in the past and has given them her notes to show them that they don't work. I have tried to get a review of the case by them and the state no one will tell me anything. I guess what I'm asking here what do I do now? HI, I LIVE IN MISSOURI TOO AND I HAVE FISRGUARD HEALTH PLAN WHICH IS A FORM OF MISSOURI MEDICAIDE TOO. AND WAS APPROVED WITH NO PROBLEM, SO I SUGGEST YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND AND DO NOT ASK TO SPEAK TO A REPRESENTATIVE BECAUSE THEY USUALLY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING SO ASK TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR OR A NURSE ADMINISTRATOR AND TELL THEM THE SITUATION AND THEN IF YOU GET NO RESPONSE, TRY TO SWITCH INSURANCES IF YOU CAN AND FIRSTGUARD MISSOURI MEDICAIDE IS GREAT IT ONLY TOOK A WEEK TO GET APPROVED AND THEY DIDN'T NEED ANY OF THAT INFO JUST, NEEDED TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE CONSIDERED OBESE AND WHAT HEALTH PROBLEMS YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW AND WHO IS TAKING CARE OF THEM I MEAN WHAT DR.
