Question:
Does anybody now of any support gourps in Moreno Valley or Riverside, CA area.

My surgery is scheduled for April 17th, and I need to start going to a support group, but I can not find one in my area. Thank you in advance for you help.    — Nicole P. (posted on April 1, 2003)

Nichole... Since you are having surgery with Dr. Mary (great lady) from Pacific Bariatric, you will be happy to know they DO have a support group in your area. The group is in San Bernardino at the Ballard Rehab Center (1760 W. 16th St). Your point of contact is Barbara Baird (909)357-0040 or via email at: [email protected] This info is a few months old, but I am sure everything is close to the same. Call up Barbara and talk to her. Inland Bariatric has two support groups in Riverside. One is at Riverside Hospital and the other one is at Parkview I believe. The surgeon's name is Dr. Terry Sanderfer

Not really a posting. Asking a question, Went out to the Parkview meeting last night and Nobody showed up, can't say that four of us did but nobody else. What's up????

The meeting is scheduled April 8th? (Frank made a mistake, scheduled it for the second tuesday) so you were just there on the wrong day. Hope to see ya there!
