I am a nurse and i think if you really want 1 oz cups, a medical supply
store is your best bet. Those little medicine cups in the hospital are
exactly one ounce. 30cc=1oz. But I found using one oz cups was a waste of
time and effort. I had some on hand and only used them about a day. I was
allowed three tablespoons or 1 and 1/2 oz weighed on my ww scale.

They gave me a whole stack of them to take home when I was discharged from
the hospital. If you just ask the nurses I'm sure they'll give you some,
although I didn't ask. My doc told me to please not go home and use them to
drink my water, she said to just use a regular cup and estimate.

Use a shot glass to measure. I also found a little PYREX measuring cup...it
looks like a shot glass, but it has measurements in red for ozs, tsb, tbsp,
and ml. It's called "Mini Measure", and I found it at Bed, Bath
& Beyond here in San Francisco. I would think any store with cooking
items would carry it as well.

Shot glasses are 1 oz and can be found anywhere you find bar-keeping
supplies. I've seen them at Bed, Bath & Beyond and I would imagine you
could find them at Linen & Things or other full service home supply
outlets of this nature.

Tupperware makes these little 2oz cups with lids and it has markings on it
for 1 oz as well I am almost positive. I bought a box of those at Target
(6 in a box) before my surgery. They came in handy then for jello &
puddings and now I use them to bring my salad dressing & other
"small" snacks to work with me.

Go to Sam's. They have the 1 oz sample size cups. Great because they are
disposable, non-breakable.

I found the cups with lids at GFS (Gordon Food Services), I'm not sure if
they have those where you live. You can find the cups (and lids) at a lot
of party supply stores. I also have a couple of the "shot glass"
measuring cups mentioned here. I found them at Wal-Mart with the kitchen
gadgets for just over $1.00.

Eckerd's Drug Store has them packaged in the area where things like
medicine containers, eyedroppers, pill crushers, etc. are located.

Ifyou go to a liquor store you can find the little plastic shot glasses
that are just slightly larger than one ounce. What I do is measure out one
ounce from a shot glass that has ounces on the side of it and then I take a
permanent marker and put little lines at the ounce mark. Hope that helps.

Hi Evelyn....I went crazy before my surgery and ordered wayyyyyyyyyyy too
many of these 1 ounce med cups. You had to order them by the case which was
300. I have no use for them and would be more than happy to send them to
you if you email me with your address, I'll get them out tomorrow. I live
in NC. Let me know?
