Question:
Have anyone had the fobi pouch and gotten to their goal weight.

Okay, what's a 'fobi' pouch? Just when I figured out the difference between distal and proximal! ;) Open RNY 10/30/02 down 110 lbs

yes I am curious to what is a fobi pouch??? and Ginger Hi there!!! I myself was born in Redbluff and Raised in Redding.....but now I am in Texas

the fobi pouch was invented by a dr. fobi, go figure, lol, anyway it is much more restrictive than the rny and you run a bigger risk of vitamin problems, the pouch is very small and cant enlarge is what i have heard, hope this helps

I am a Fobi patient I had surgery on 4-21-03 They say we have a smaller pouch than the average person getting this surgery but it seems exactly the same to me. I am 9 weeks post op and have lost 35lbs, at first thought I was a slow loser than found out so much info here realize I am right on track! Don't see much difference other than I prob paid alot more for sugery than you did!
