Question:
Has anyone heard any good or negative feedback regarding Dr. Schlesinger ?

I have just heard that Dr. Schlesinger and the Baratric Treatment Center are coming to Phoenix and there location will open next month. Does anyone have any feedback for me. I am currently scheduled for a consult with Dr. Juarez, however, I might be able to get surgery much sooner if I was to go with this program and this doc seems highly recommmended. Hi I had surgery preformed by his partner last Dec and while in the hospital my husband was very impressed by Dr S. He was very concerned for his patients and seemed to be around even more than my own surgeon.

I posted an answer last night and it disappeared! I liked eric schlessinger a lot. My scar is quite thin and hardly noticable. He is very professional. He is not the warm fuzzy type, but I was not looking for a new best friend, rather a very experienced and competant surgeon. I asked him why he does this surgery, he said he felt he could do the most to improve health by doing this surgery. He worked under the surgeon general C. Evertett Koop, at some point who had made a statement that obesity is the greatest health threat in the United States. I found him to be very understanding and non judgemental regarding obesity. He has a kind of dry sense of humor. I liked him a real lot. I would go to him again in a new york minute and have referred numerous friends to him. In fact, I might have to call him up and ask for a commission on the patients I have sent him! If I had a loved on having surgery I would insist they go to him.
