I was hungry every couple of hours at the stage you are at, and depending on my activity level sometimes I can eat what I consider 'alot'. Here is my advice. RELAX. listen to your body and go by the pouch rules. Don't drink with your meals, chew well, stop when you feel full. Tacos are pretty mushy, and I have noticed that I can eat much more of a mushy or slimy food (slides down) than a 'hard' food like pork chop or veggie. Try not to freak out, and remember that as your body changes, your pouch will change a little too. You shouldn't over eat till you are over full every time you eat, but your pouch will tell you when it's had enough. If you really start freaking, talk to your support group or your surgeon. Good luck to you.

Lisa, You're doing fine, remember with each passing day our new tummies will slowly allow us to eat more, the swelling stops. I know it's a little scarey I've been there, I keep looking at my food journal from the last couple of months and saying dam, why can't I just eat what I ate before and be full. No such thing, I'm 8 months post op and on an average day I'm taking in about 1500-1800 calories a day, I know it's a little higher then I've read the rest are doing, but I'm addicted to peanuts, no a wise choice, high in calories.. Lisa, I eat just about what you eat, every 2 hours. The best thing you can do at this point is make wise choices, on the hot dog, could you have eaten a fat free, or low fat hot dog ? You did great not eating the bread.. The taco the same thing, cheese and sour cream on it ? At this point we need to really re-train our way of thinking, you're doing great girl, keep your chin up, you've come too far !!. Don't stress over it, just be carefull and make wise choices on your new little tummy. Post op 8 months down 115 pounds
