Hey, 39 lbs in 9 weeks is a good start. I started as a light wt, and I am
at goal and still losing. lol. I don't know much about what you eat. But
it sounds like you either may have a protein problem or maybe a fluid
problem. The more you eat and drink the more you lose. Trying getting in
more protein. I keep low fat cheeses on hand, I buy chicken strips from
Walmart, that are low fat and has 7 grams of protein for each piece, eat
Jerky. Get some protein drinks. Anything to add a little more may make a
big difference..... Good Luck and God Bless.

Sure does'nt sound good to me. I was 319 and lost around 11-14 pounds one
month pre op by stopping sugar. So my offical start weight (although I
count my highest) was 305 and I believe I lost 32 pounds in the first
month. (It's in my profile anyway). Perhaps you are eating to many
carbohydrates? I tried to avoid them like the plague. I lived on meat and
cheese and lost pretty well. (I'm around 30 pounds from goal and probally
won't reach it although I'm not giving up). I'm guessing you may be eating
alot of carbohydrates which are a killer. (I know I am).

LISE, DO NOT LET PEOPLE DISCOURAGE YOU, YOU ARE DOING FINE EVERYONE LOSES
DIFFERENT. TRY GOING BACK TO THE BASICS EATING ONLY MEAT AND LOW CARB
VEGIES AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU EAT FOR ONE DAY AND
SEE IF YOU ARE TAKING IN TO MANY CARBS. DON'T GIVE UP IT WILL WORK. COUNT
YOU PROTIEN IN TAKE AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING IN ENOUGH.
