Question:
Does the Pill makes anyone dry heave?

I started taking the pill my first period after surgery and when I take it within hours I get nauseaus and start dry heaving. I have tryed taking it at night -- but when I wake up in the morning I dry heave. Anyone else experience this?    — Kelly T. (posted on November 25, 2002)

Kelly, just saw your post. Have you taken the pill before or is this the first time? First of all definitely talk with your doctor. I found personally that not everyone can take the pill. Years ago they put me on it to regulate hormones. They couldn't explain it but I started having rectal bleeding - a lot. Stopped the pill, it stopped. Started, bleeding started, stopped again, it stopped. I was told not to take the pill again. It wasn't worth the risk. They never did have an answer but I guess some just can't take it. Another option is taking a different brand / streghth (I guess you'd call it). There are other option out there too. No matter what you need to talk with your doctor about it. That isn't normal.
