Question:
Any patient of Dr. Overcash all my paperwork was in 7-3.
How long does anyone think it will take to get insurance approval (its BCBS) and a surgery date? — Linda J. (posted on July 7, 2002)

Dr. Overcash's office is usually VERY fast getting approvals and surgery
dates. Once your approval has been received he can generally schedule you
for surgery within about 6 weeks (at the most - generally quicker). Best
of Luck.

I had my initial consult on April 1, and left that appointment with my
approval and surgery date...much to my surprise! I had my surgery on June
20, but could have been scheduled a month and a half earlier, but later
worked better for me. When I had my 10 day post op check up, Patrice had
several approvals to get...somewhere around 20-25...and people had been
waiting a month to see him. He's a busy, busy surgeon! Good luck to you!
