Question:
I get this pain in my back after eating some of my meals
Does anyone else experience this? Is this gas or am I possibly eating too much at certain times because the pain definately feels eating related and not the typical kind of muscular pain I usually get in my back. I don't get this pain all the time after eating, just sometimes. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. — Sheila R. (posted on February 7, 2002)

I get that same thing too. It hurts like all "heck", but
eventually goes away. Not sure what it is, and cannot offer you any
advice, just letting you know that someone else out there has the same
thing goin on! I chalked it up to gas..??

Hi... Sorry to tell you this, but, if you still have your gallbladder, that
could definitely be the problem. Your symptoms are exactly like the ones I
had, and I ended up having my gallbladder out. I urge you to tell your
doctor right away.... the pain WILL increase, to the point that you will be
howling for morphine. I know this because I kept wishing it would go
away... it doesn't. It's extremely common for gallbladders to fail after
weight loss. It's nothing you did, and don't bother trying to figure out
'the pattern' of when the pain occurs, after what food, etc. Just go to the
doctor now!!
