Question:
Where can I find Bile Salts?

I know that many people have suggested taking Bile Salts to prevent stones in the gall bladder post op. Where can I find them? How much should I take?    — Shana C. (posted on December 29, 2001)

I have never heard anything about bile salts, but my doctor gave me a six month prescription for Actigol, (or I have the generic Ursodiol) to prevent gall stones. I take one a day for six months. Just thought I would pass this on. Lisa

Some doctors take out the gall bladder while he's "in there." You might ask your doctor if he would do that for you. I've never heard of bile salts either.
