There are several surgeons in the Houston area that have a great deal of experience with RNY. The most important question to ask your surgeon is HOW MANY has he done, and how long has he been doing them. If you are interested, we are having a support group meeting on Sunday Dec 2 here in Houston. We aren't affiliated with any one surgeon. You could gain some perspective on different surgeons in town. Look at the website for NeWeigh.com, they have 2 top surgeons and a wonderful support group. Whom ever you pick as a Dr. make sure he is ASBS registered. (American Society of Bariatric Surgeons). You can access that website through this one I think. Good luck
