Question:
Is it easier to get approved with a heart murmur?
I just found out though my pre-op testing that I have a heart murmur. I "had" one years ago, then Docs could not find it. Well, it must be back, because the pulminary Dr. found it yesterday. Would it make it harder to be approved having this as far as risk are concerned,ie, being put under? They did schedule me for a echo, but have not had it yet. Thanks! marie A. — Marie A. I was in the same boat so my PCP sent me to a cardiologist for an
ultrasound of my heart and the insurance company accepted his finding that
I did not have a murmur. Two PCP's thought I did. Good luck.
