Question:
What should a dietician put in her letter to the insurance company?

Hi Everyone My dietician whom I've been working with has finally agreed to write me a letter to my insurance carrier supporting my decision for RNY. We're wondering if there is anything specific she should put in it. Anything that may or may not push the insurance companies decision in my favor? I would think things like documented attempts at weighloss, how you are a good candidate for the surgery, that your eating habits will allow the procedure to be a success, that you are well educated and supported in this decision etc. Good luck in the process :)
