Yes, call your surgeon in the morning he can help you keep food down. You
probably have not done anything to cause this. Your body has been through
it. It takes some time for everything to start running correctly. I am sure
your Doctor can help you. I hope you feel better soon...Trina

Definately call your doctor in the AM. From speaking with others who have
had to have a dialation performed they all had these type of systems. Good
Luck : )

I too had this problem. It seems to come and go. I am almost six weeks post
op. 3 weeks ago it was very bad, while we were on vacation in Vegas. I was
doing the exact same thing. One thing I did find was that when my stomach
started "convulsing" as I describe it, I would not put anything
in for a couple of hours to give it time to settle down. I had bad pain
right before I would start throwing up, like something was stuck. I don't
think I was eating too fast or taking too large of bites. It was strange,
sometimes foods that I knew to be agreeing with me, such as egg beaters
would even cause the problem. In the last week I seem to be doing it less
and less. I think our new pouches are irriatable at first. Good luck to
you.

Finally! Someone else who had this problem too. I am 4 months post op and
the first 6-8 weeks I suffered from this too. When I went to see my
surgeon for my 6-week checkup, he said I was eating too fast. I said NO
WAY .. I am eating really slowly. But I wasn't. I was also trying to
drink the way I used to drink and that wasn't working either, so water
wouldn't stay down either. It felt like a big lump in the back of my
throat until I threw it up. So, the doctor once again explained to me how
to eat and how to drink .. old habits die hard. Then, he gave me some
Bentyl and Prilosec and told me to take them when I ate. Well, I'm happy
to report problem solved. Everything has been fine since then. However,
just as you said, the "FOAM" you're throwing up is white and mine
kind of formed a "tube" in the toilet. It was the oddest thing.
Anyway, hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

It's from eating too much and too fast, especially too fast. You have to
slow down and take really little bites. Also, there may now be some foods
you're just allergic to. For example, chicken. I cannot digest it, it's
just too tough, I'm not sure but I have to stay away from it. Certain
abstinences may be your answer because I'm assuming everything doesn't make
you sick. Can you pinpoint what's making you sick? Just eat some of your
safe foods and see your surgeon if the vomiting persists.
