Question:
Has anybody seen it to be a problem to have loose skin if they are working out?
I plan on working out even more so after my surg. but this is my biggest fear. Also seems like i have heard that some doctors do a tummy tuck when doing the procedure. any help will be appreciated. I am hoping to have my surg in the next couple of weeks. Also has anybody went back to work less than two weeks after the surg. I cant see my self just sitting around.i have the insurance part taken care of for the most part. i atleast have one plan that will cover it. working with my other insurance. please email me if you have any suggestions for me. or tips that you would of like to have known prior to your surg. Hi Barb. Loose skin is a problem until you've worked out at least 6
weeks...perseverence! Iwent back to work 4 weeks after surgery. I just
couldn't imagine all the stress and noise at the office before that. Just
watch soaps or read, you'll probably be glad you did.

Hi, I had a panni (to some called a mini tuck) and returned to work in 3
days (drains were removed day 2). I even did an air travel to Dallas from
Chicago on day 4. (I'm a consultant and could not take the time off because
I was on a project) I didn't have very much pain, I wore a really snug
(but very comfortable) undergarment that I had to wear for 6 weeks. The
lack of pain I was told, was due to the fact that the skin was stretched so
much, all nerve endings were obliterated. And since no muscle was cut and
limited only to skin and fat the pain was so minimal. Now gallbladdar
surgery? Now that was a trip!!! I prayed to die, I was in so much pain
post op! The incisions are different which is the reason there was minimal
pain. Hip to Hip incision vs. slanted breast bone to right side (12
inches). I still have no sensation around the incision. Anyway, contact me
if you need some more info.
