Hello, I am just 1 week post op and I am beginining to feel hungry. I can
eat 2 or 3 oz and then 1 hour later I am hungry again. I sam eating a few
oz every few hours but am still below my toatl requirement and I think this
is normal!! In time, when we can eat a full 4 oz, I think it will last for
about 4 hours or so. kathy

That's normal. You still have to fuel your body and heal. 2 oz isn't much
fuel to go on. I still eat or drink a protein supplement every 2-3 hours.
10.5 yrs out. It keeps me more in control of everything.

Yes, I feel hungry and am never able to eat more than 2-3 oz at one
sitting. My Dr recommends 6 small meals a day like this!

I am 1 year and1 month post-op and I can eat about 3 ozs at a time, but
less than 2 hours later I am hungry feeling again. So I will drink
something instead of eating, but the hunger feeling is still there so I get
busy doing something to detour the hunger feeling. In having very low blood
sugar the last 3 weeks I have had to eat 6 small meals and 2 snacks to keep
my blood sugar up above 45. But I am getting hungry more often now so I
guess yes I have had to do the same about eating 2 to 3 hours cause of
feeling hungry.

Yep pretty normal for me. At first I ate just a little every two hours. If
I waited or put myself off I tended to overeat and was misirable so Ive
learned to listen to my body and when truely hungary then I eat.
