I am to only eat 1/2 cup at each of my meals and less than that for a
snack. The calories are to be between 100-1200 a day with me getting 60-80
grams of protein. Some days I can hardly eat that amount and other days I
feel like I can eat a house and not be satisfied. Hope this helps.

Hi, you sound like your right on track, I am 9 months out and have lost
89lbs. I eat about a 1/2 cup of food per meal and have just started to
tolerate a little bit of sugar, This is a good thing and a bad thing I can
eat 3 M&M's but six puts me to sleep. Good luck in your venture.

Randy:
I am 11 months out, and have lost 122 lbs. I can eat any where from 6oz to
1 cup at a meal. It is some times as little as 4-5 oz. It varies from
meal to meal, and also depends on what I eat. If I eat my protein first,
and then some vegies I eat less. If I have a salad, I can probably eat
more than a cup. I have read alot, and up to one cup seems to be pretty
normal. The most importent thing to remember is to stop as soon as you are
no longer hungry. I still find myself wanting to "finish" a
portion, but I try to stop when I'm satisfied. I know you read alot of
different opinions on this, but as long as you're losing weight, or
maintaining, and you're not overstuffing your pouch (we all know how this
feels!) Then I'd say you're doing just fine!!! Good luck and happy
anniversary!! DeeAnn R

Sorry I meant to say that my calories are to be 1100-1200 a day. Sorry for
any confusion may have caused.

I'm 16 months out and qty. wise I find myself feeling satiated with apprix
1/4 to 1/3 cup of dense protein per meal. I still avoid anything white, no
rice no beef, nothing overly processed or fried. Steering towards vegan
more and more and loving it! Calorie wise I seem to feel best at arounf
1200-1500 cal. per day, broken down into 3 meals and 2 'mini-meals',
protein first and lots of water and exercise every day. Down 166 lbs so far
and looking forward to losing some more this spring especially.
