Question:
Anyone seeing a chiropractor?

I just went back to my chiropractor on Friday and feel better. He is great. My surgeon encouraged me to go back to my chiropractor. My primary doctor on the other hand-- hates chiropractors. I guess alot of primary docs think chiropractor's don't do much, but I think-- in my opinion, they help.    — Bonnie R. (posted on February 8, 2004)

I love my Chiropractor! I wouldn't want to live without one. I feel so much better when I go. There are some quack chiropractors out there who think they can cure anything, which is why some PCP's don't approve. If you have back problems, getting adjusted is the next best thing to having an orgasm. ~Keri

My chiropractor was a God-send as my weight dropped so quickly post-op! All those muscles have to work differently as your weight changes and those adjustments my chiro made kept me more comfortable. She suggested exercises to strengthen my back and neck muscles. I consider an important part of my "health-care team"!

Don't listen to your MD, they aren't taught the concept of Chiro or alternative med in school. Just like some DR don't agree with WLS, because they don't understand it. I used to do Chiropractic medical review and went in as a sceptic, but now am a total believer and user!

I work for a chiropractor and have been getting adjustments since I've worked there for the past 10 years. I totally trust my chiropractor and he has helped me tremendously since my surgery. It really helps with the structural changes that go on in your body as you lose the weight. I encourage everyone to do the same, you will feel the difference!

I have a standing appointment every three weeks with my chiropractor. I know I feel better and even if my PCP said it wasn't worth it I would still go. I work a very stressful job in front of a computer all day and by that third week I am SO ready to go.
