Question:
Has anyone ever tried the new Commit stop smaking lozenge?
Went to school and took up smoking again for a few months. BIG mistake. Seems harder this time around. I have tried the patch, but does not seem to do anything. ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO? — Marie A. (posted on January 7, 2003)

I'm not sure how well it would work for you, but I quite using Zyban. I
also have tried the patch and cold turkey, but Zyban made it amazingly easy
for me. The biggest problem is that it's sustained release and doesn't work
well with RNY's. I am now on Wellbutrin (same as Zyban, but non SR version)
crushed 3x per day and it works *almost* as well since I'm still not
smoking. Open RNY 11/26/02 - 38lbs

I agree with the last poster...I too am on Wellbutrin (Zyban) and it has
made this so much more easier than I thought it would have been. I smoked
2-3 packs a day for the past 20 years and I've been smoke free for over two
months and I feel sooooooooooooooooooo much better! I also started out
using the Nicoderm CQ patch, combined with 150mg of Wellbutrin taken twice
a day. Good Luck. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU MARIE!!!!
