Question:
HAS ANYONE LOST MORE WEIGHT THAN THEY REALLY WANTED TO
I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAD LOST MORE WEIGHT THAN THEY REALLY WANTED TO? I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT BUT I HAVE SOME PEOPLE THAT ARE REALLY THIN AND THEY LOOK JUST AS BAD AS SOMEONE WHO IS REALLY OBESE. I WONDERED IF YOU COULD STOP SOMEWHERE AROUND THE SIZE YOU WOULD WANT TO BE. I KNOW THIS MAY SOUND REALLY SILLY TO SOME, BUT IT WAS A QUESTION I WANTED AN ANSWER FOR THANKS — deborah C. I've never seen anyone STAY too thin. I've seen some shoot past goal, then
do the bounceback, including me. Also, when you are looking at people, are
they 1 yr post-op? (like a deflated ballo0?) or 2 yrs or 5 yrs? Were they
properly supplemented, or have their forfeited all their muscle mass? Were
they hydrated? Or were they living on empty calories, which only maintains
some systems, noen of which incluide bones or muscle? When I first hit
110# going DOWN, I also looked pale and loose. At 7 yrs at 110#, I look
pretty darned normal, good color, skin is about right fo my age. HUGE
difference in how I supplemented and the "just deflated" vs
stabilized distribution of "me".

I'll always be a FAT person in my head. But, I lost below my goal of 140#.
I go between 122# and 132#. When I get down in the 20's, I am more diligent
in my nutrients. I get laxed when I get up to 130#. I also had an extra
bypass due to my chronic health problems. I never thought I would ever be
trying to gain weight!!!! I don't take compliments too well either. It
irritates me when people comment on how good I look. They wouldn't have
given me the time of day 100# ago. Beauty is only skin deep, and I'm a
beautiful FAT, skinny person!!! --
