Question:
What is best revision for me? I would appreciate any input
i had a horizontal stomach stapling in 1984, and i lost about 80 lbs. but after the first year it began to go back to almost normal. i still eat small portions, although not as small as right after surgery. i have gained all weight back except 18 lbs. i have to contantly diet just to stay at this weight. my question is what is the best revision surgery for me? i know it is ultimately up to me, but i am really confused. i know the dr. will recommend the ones he is most comfortable with. i just want some input on what will help me keep weight off for life the best. i only need to lose 100 max. has anyone had surgery and kept weight off for several years? i would love to know. thanks patti meadows e-mail: [email protected] — peppermintp (posted on April 22, 2001)

If you don't like to or can't diet, it sounds like you need a distal
procedure. You can check out my site at: http://www.mywls.com or the DS
site at: http://www.duodenalswitch.com for information... Good luck to you!
