Question:
Why does my pouch always seem full?
I am almost 3 months post-op and I am on regular foods. I can eat anything and not get sick or dump. But even when I don't eat anything my pouch still feels full almost all the time. I notice that when I lay on my stomach it feels that way also. I don't eat much at all maybe dinner in the evening. And one meal for me would be 4 fish sticks that's all. And I'm not losing the amount of weight that I thought that I would lose. When I eat I try to eat my protein first, but what am I doing wrong? And why is my pouch feeling like it is? Could it be that my pouch is shrinking more, because I'm not eating like I should? Please help!!!!! — [Anonymous] (posted on January 25, 2001)

You're NOT dumping, NOT getting the "urps", can eat anything, and
feel fine. You've got a new body. Listen to it. Trust yourself. You're
doing fine. Don't go by scale-weight. Even though you may not be dropping
pounds, I bet your clothes are fitting a lot looser.
