I watched that show, and Carnie looks great! She sounds so happy with her new life, and I wish her continued success. There were also some other guests on the show who have lost large amounts of weight through other methods. I felt just miserable watching them, because I knew how short-lived their victory would probably be. Doesn't Oprah remember the pain and humiliation of losing her weight in the public spotlight, then gaining it all back? How awful to put these other people in the same painful situation. Of course there is a small chance that those dieters could keep their weight off, and I wish them all the luck in the world. But realistically, we all know that "high" of losing weight on a diet doesn't last long.
