Question:
I am 4 days short of 1 yr but I quit losing 2 months ago stuck at 143-148 pounds
I am almost 1 yr post op and quit losing about 2 months ago. I have not changed my eating habits at no No sugar or high fats because I dump very easily. How can I get to my goal of 125 — debbie P. (posted on October 10, 2000)

Over time, your body adjusts to your new level of calorie intake, plus your
digestive system adjusts so it can absorb a little more of the food you
eat. So, eventually your weight loss will just slow down and stop on its
own. In a way, your body is deciding the weight where it is comfortable.
Trying to push your body past that weight will most likely take more work
from you, ie exercise. Or, you can just decide to be happy where you are.
How do you feel physically? What sizes are you wearing? How did you pick
your goal weight originally? Is your BMI in the "healthy" range?
Make sure you are not just aiming for an artifical number on the scale.

Debbie
Don't be discouraged just yet. I like you am only a few days a way from my
one yr, I too have been stuvk between 144-148 and its driving me freaking
nuts. I know that as long as I am eating less and working out more the lbs
will come off. I don't have a goal of 125lbs but mine is 135lbs. I am too
have a tummy tuck and my bat wings done though so I am so the lbs will come
off then....don't forget as well...that muscle weighs 3xs more than fat and
your bound to have loads of muscle now adays. Keep at it and know your not
alone. Email me anytime though
take care
