What is a Restaurant Card

Hi, My name is Pat Craden, I'm new, and I have been reading for the last three months. I really am impressed how everyone helps everyone else. Hi Pat: My surgeon gives us a card which is laminated and has the hospital logo on one side and a signed, typewritten statement by him with his phone numer on the other side. It simply states that the bearer of this card has had surgery which severely restricted the size of their stomach and requests that they be allowed to order 1/2 of the regular size meals, or from the children's menu - and to call him or his nurse if they have any questions about this.
