i am just starting my wls quest so i can't really answer your question. but
i did want you to tell your friend that peripartum cardiomyopathy often
reverses itself (depending on how long she has had the symptond beyond
childbirth). i have dilated cardiomyopathy which was discovered only after
the birth of my 3rd child. i had had the symptons at the birth of 2nd child
but kept getting misdiagnosed with things such as "bronchitis",
"pneumonia", and "asthma", and my husband was even told
that it was all psychosamatic when all along it was CHF. i should have
listend to myself when i felt that something was wrong. i hope you friend's
is reverseable and i hope that she finds the wls answers that she's
searching for.
