Question:
How can I check surgeon's credentials and professional reputation for myself

The surgeon I am hoping to use has wonderful recommendations from other WLS patients, including those found on this website. I read statements such as "one of the best in his field," "an innovator, great technique." How can I check him out for myself? Or do I rely solely upon what others have to say about him? There is a section in the AOL health section where you can view doctors, Insurance and HMO's. I checked out my doctor there, Good luck! I hope this helps.
