Question:
My mother is 63 and on medicare, will dr's do surgery on her (IL)?

At BTC in IL they told me the cut off was 59, do you think that is hard and fast rule and are all places that way also. She will need a knee replacement soon if she doesn't get the weight off. I'm awaiting insurance approval for myself.    — Kay C. (posted on August 14, 1999)
