My husband eats all those things. They don't appeal to me. But not right
away! Only when your doc says it's OK! And yep, we dance. When the doc
says it's OK!

Yes to all of the above :) Not immediately .. but as you heal and are able
to tolerate the spicier foods you will. I have salads all the time. As for
dancing it's good exercise and once your doctor feels you're healed
sufficiently ... go for it!

I can eat hot peppers and tomatoes. I can't do dark greens
like broccolli, asparagus and spinach. You can dance and
do absolutely anything else your hear desires. But wait
until your doctor says go for it. About four weeks after
surgery. I don't think you'll be up dancing much before
that.

I eat salads every day almost. They are actually one of the easier foods
for me to eat. I have eaten lots of jalapeno's and hot foods with no ill
effects. I have gone dancing with no ill-effects. You cannot feel the
staples inside there. You feel normal unless you are eating.
