I don't know about the insurance issue. I had been at my job
just 11 months when I had my surgery. But I had found out it
was covered shortly after I started working there. What an
awesome benefit, huh? Anyway. With a proximal RNY you should
lose 10 pounds per month for 12-18 months, then continue at a
slower rate. On average patients lose about 2/3 of their excess
weight by two years.

Each person loses at their own pace.It depends on your body and whether you
take your 30 mins. walk and how much water you drink and if you get your
protein allotment for the day.
