Question:
I have gone to see my surgeon after some weight gain and he will be looking to see if

my staple line is still intact through an upper and lower gi series. If it is a staple line disruption does anyone know what they do to fix it.    — LAURA G. (posted on September 30, 2005)

Surgery is the only way to fix a staple line disruption. Depending on you, your previous surgery type and the doc will determine on if you will be able to have it done Lap or Open. My original surgery was open, I had a lot of scar tissue, my doc felt it better to do my revision as an open, but I have heard where some people have been able to have it done Lap.
