Hi.I provide this for all my patients after just about any kind of plastic surgery. They can either learn the technique and keep doing it themselves or have our therapists work on them. It helps restore the channels that drain fluid from the surgical area and helps control swelling. Its a gentle technique, and has to be done by an RMT who specifically undertsands the needs of plastic surgery patients. We have one in-house as a part of our spa upstairs, and I like to start the massages about 3 weeks after surgery.
